A 'New Record' in Pokémon GO means you've just beaten your previous best for that action, like the longest distance a Pokémon is caught from or highest CP Pokémon caught. Congrats, you're getting better!

New Record? Just means your skills are improving, whether by catching a high CP Pokémon or throwing a super long Poké Ball. Nice work!

When you see 'New Record' in Pokémon GO, it means you've just set a personal best! This could be for walking distance, catching distance, or a new highest CP Pokémon. Keep it up!

It's a pat on the back from Pokémon GO for beating one of your previous bests. Keep collecting those records!

If you're a Pokemon GO! player looking for extra PokeCoins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Pokemon GO! essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
