Paralyzed means your Pokemon is basically out of commission for your next turn. Can't attack, can't retreat. Flip it to the side to remember it's paralyzed. Then, after your turn is done, it's back to normal.

In the Pokemon Card Game, when a Pokemon is Paralyzed, it can't attack or retreat on the player's next turn. This effect symbolizes the Pokemon being too stunned to move. Remember though, this effect wears off after the player's next turn, so it's a temporary setback!

Actually, paralysis isn't that big of a deal. Just means you can't use that Pokémon next turn. It's a good strategy, but there are way worse status conditions to worry about.

Paralyzed? Just means your Pokémon's taking a short, involuntary break. Can't move or attack until next turn. Kinda like when you need to reboot your computer, but for Pokémon.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
