Shadowless cards are the OG bling of Pokemon cards. They lack the shadow effect on the images that later versions have, making them old school and rare. If you got one, you're sitting on a piece of Pokemon history.

No shadows = more value. Shadowless Pokemon cards are from the earliest prints and are super rare. They don't have the shadow border around the picture like the newer ones do. So, if you find one, you've hit the nostalgia jackpot!

Shadowless Pokemon cards are basically like the shiny version of the card world. They're from the first print run of the Pokemon Trading Card Game, missing the shadow on the right side of the image box that later editions have. This makes them super rare and cool cause they were only around before the design was updated.

Honestly, shadowless cards are just the old prints before they added shadow effects. Cool but not that big of a deal unless you're super into collecting.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
