Steam Points are basically your bragging currency on Steam. You earn them whenever you buy stuff, and you can spend them on cool cosmetics like profile backgrounds, animated avatars, and badges. It's like dressing up your Steam profile to flex on your friends.

They're essentially useless unless you REALLY care about customizing your Steam profile. All fluff, no substance.

Steam Points? They let you buy chat effects, emoticons, and more from the Steam Points Shop. It's all cosmetic, so don't expect to buy games or DLC with them. But hey, who doesn't want their chat to look snazzy?

I've spent way too many Steam Points on profile backgrounds. It's kinda addictive, not gonna lie. Makes your profile look unique and it's a nice way to use the points you get from purchases.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
