What Does the Attack 'Burn' Do in Pokemon Cards?
ForetellingTable·7 months agoAh, the 'Burn' status, a classic way to turn up the heat in Pokémon TCG battles! When a Pokémon is Burned, you put a Burn marker on it. At the end of each player's turn, the Burned Pokémon takes 20 damage. Then, the player flips a coin - if it's heads, the Pokémon is no longer Burned; tails, and the Pokémon keeps sizzling away. It's a great strategy to chip away at your opponent's HP over time!

Burn's overrated. Just use a water Pokémon and splash that fire out. Why wait around with Burn when you could just knock 'em out cold?
Simple - Burn = pain for Pokémon. When they're Burned, they lose 20 HP between turns until a coin flip says otherwise. It's like giving your opponent's Pokémon a spicy pepper and watching them try to deal with the heat!
