What does the Wizard like in Stardew Valley?
The Wizard absolutely loves it when you give him Solar Essence, Super Cucumber, Purple Mushroom, and Void Essence. These are pretty much the keys to his mystical heart. Solar Essence and Void Essence are especially easy to snag if you're into a bit of monster slaying in the mines.

Just give him anything shiny or magical looking, and you're good to go. But seriously, Solar Essence and Void Essence will make you besties with the Wizard in no time.
I tried giving the Wizard a fish once, thinking maybe he'd appreciate the variety. Spoiler: he did not. Stick with the magical stuff like Solar Essence and Void Essence!
Honestly, just mine a bunch of Void Essence and keep it for the Wizard. It's like wizard catnip.
