Basically, 'Toasty!' is what happens when you nail a flaming uppercut, and Ed Boon's face appears in the corner to cheer you on. It's just a fun little detail.

It's just a silly joke when you do an uppercut.

In Mortal Kombat 2, 'Toast!' is an Easter egg that pops up when you perform a fiery uppercut move. It's Ed Boon, one of the game's creators, shouting 'Toasty!' in a high-pitched voice. Classic MK fun!

As someone who's played MK2 for countless hours, I can tell you that seeing 'Toasty!' pop up after a perfect uppercut is one of the most satisfying moments in the game!

If you're a Mortal Kombat player looking for extra coins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Mortal Kombat essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
