Trade lock = No trading. It's like getting socks for Christmas; you're stuck with them.
From firsthand experience, trade lock means exactly what it sounds like. Any card that's trade locked won't be going anywhere. I learned this the hard way when I tried to trade some of my best cards to a buddy. Spoiler: It didn't work.
