Episodes 142-152 introduce the 'Great Saiyaman' and are considered filler by many fans. Some love them, some... not so much.
Skip episodes 171-174. Those are filler where our heroes are fighting some random guys in a spaceship. No big loss there.
Honestly, just watch all the episodes. Filler is fun too! You get more character moments and silly fights.
Pretty much anything with Gohan in high school counts as filler. Enjoy those episodes if you like cheesy superhero antics!
