As someone who's seen them all, I recommend 'Battle of Gods' and 'Resurrection 'F'' for some modern DBZ awesomeness. Both movies reintroduced the series in an epic way!
Start with 'Broly: The Legendary Super Saiyan'! It's one of the fan favorites and introduces one of the most powerful Saiyans.
