If we're talking 2019, you're looking at the tail end of the Sun & Moon era, specifically. My personal fave was Cosmic Eclipse - so many awesome cards in that set.

The 2019 Pokemon cards are mostly part of the "Sun & Moon" series, which includes several expansions. There were a bunch released throughout the year, like 'Team Up', 'Unbroken Bonds', 'Unified Minds', and 'Cosmic Eclipse'. Each expansion brought in new cards, strategies, and sometimes even new mechanics to the game. Always exciting to see what's next!

Honestly, 2019 was all about the Sun & Moon series which was okay, I guess. But, nothing beats the nostalgia of the original Base Set for me.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
