Master Chu, aka Shuu Tsukiyama, goes through quite a rollercoaster! He starts off as an elegant and refined gourmet ghoul, but his obsession with Kaneki causes him to lose his mind for a bit. Eventually, he redeems himself and becomes one of Kaneki's most loyal allies.
Shuu Tsukiyama, or Master Chu, had a rough time. After Kaneki's 'disappearance,' he fell into despair and lost his sanity. But don't worry, he bounces back and fights alongside Kaneki later.
