In Fallout 4, Shaun turns out to be the leader of the Institute, the secretive organization beneath the Commonwealth. After the Sole Survivor emerges from Vault 111, they discover that Shaun was kidnapped as a baby and raised by the Institute. Depending on the player's choices, Shaun can either remain in power, be ousted, or even die.

Shaun? Oh, he's the twist in the story! Grown-up and calling the shots at the Institute. And depending on how you play, his fate's in your hands. Talk about family drama!

Actually Shaun ends up being one of the game's biggest plot twists - he's the big boss of the Institute. Mind-blowing stuff!
