Actually, it's a bit overrated. You learn a few new spells, but it doesn't change the storyline all that much. Still fun to blast baddies with Avada Kedavra though!

Learning Dark Arts in Hogwarts Legacy adds a thrilling edge to your gameplay! When you dip into the Dark Arts, your character gains access to powerful spells not available to other students. This includes spells like Avada Kedavra, which, yes, is as lethal in-game as in the lore. But don't worry, the game doesn't penalize you for being curious about the Dark Arts; instead, it opens up unique dialogue options and reactions from NPCs, adding depth to your playthrough. Just remember, with great power comes great responsibility... or great fun!
