It's the phase where homologous chromosomes swap DNA and split into two cells. Think of it as shuffling the genetic deck!

Meiosis 1 is where the magic starts! Homologous chromosomes pair up, exchange parts, and then get pulled to opposite sides of the cell.

Meiosis 1 is basically where chromosomes do a little dance, exchange some parts, and then split up!

In meiosis 1, the cell goes through a process where homologous chromosomes pair up and exchange segments (crossing over), then separate into two new cells. It results in two cells with half the original chromosome number, but still doubled genetic material!
