In the first episode, Boruto saves a kid named Denki from bullies and convinces him to join the Ninja Academy. It's a great start to see how Boruto is alike but also different from Naruto.

Boruto helps Denki who got into trouble with some bullies and then they both end up enrolling in the Ninja Academy. Classic ninja teamwork right from the get-go!

Honestly, it's just Boruto bein' Boruto, causing some ruckus on a train and then roping Denki into the academy. Typical Uzumaki behavior!

Boruto gets into some mischief on a train, saves Denki from bullies, and they're both set for the Ninja Academy. Sets up the series nicely!
