They added a bunch of new course parts and gameplay mechanics, like slopes, on/off switches, and more enemies to keep things spicy! And you can also create night-themed levels now!

Honestly, the best part is the new world-building feature. You can now create entire Mario game worlds, not just individual levels. It's like being a game designer!

Super Mario Maker 2 has a new Story Mode with 100+ built-in courses! It also introduces the Super Mario 3D World style, which brings new elements like the Cat Mario power-up, clear pipes, and much more.
