MTG Online (MTGO) is like the OG grandfather of Magic digital games, where you get a more 'complete' Magic experience with almost all the cards available and you can play almost all the formats, including the vintage stuff. It's more complex and detailed, kind of mimics the real-life play. MTG Arena, on the other hand, is the flashy younger sibling, with snazzy animations, a more user-friendly interface, and focuses more on the Standard format and newer sets. Arena is great for beginners or those who enjoy a quicker, more visually engaging game!

MTGO is for the purists and the collectors, those who want every card and every format. Arena is for the modern player, who wants fast games, great graphics, and doesn't mind a more limited card pool.

Arena is easier to get into, no contest. MTGO feels like you need a degree in MTG to even start.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
