PlayStation Plus has three main plans: Essential, Extra, and Premium. Essential gives you online multiplayer, monthly free games, and discounts. Extra adds a huge game catalog you can download, and Premium includes all that plus game streaming and classics from older consoles.

Essential is the basic tier with multiplayer, monthly games, and discounts. Extra adds a huge game library, and Premium throws in cloud streaming and classic games.

For me, the Extra tier is the sweet spot. You get access to a lot of games without shelling out for the full Premium subscription. Premium is great if you love retro games and streaming.

Everyone's overthinking this. Just get the Essential plan if you just wanna play online and grab the free games each month. Simple!

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
