Hands down, the most epic rarity when it comes to Charizard cards has gotta be the 1st Edition Shadowless Charizard card from the Base Set. This card is like the holy grail for collectors because it was part of the very first print run, lacks the shadow effect on the right side of the image which later editions have, and it’s just insanely hard to find in mint condition. Basically, if you've got one of these in your collection, you’re sitting on a goldmine!

Honestly, the title for the rarest Charizard card is always changing but the 1st Edition Shadowless from the Base Set is legendary. But don't sleep on the Charizard #4 Pokémon Gold Star from the Pokémon TCG: EX Dragon Frontiers set - that one's also super rare and sought after!

Rare? 1st Edition Shadowless, end of story. Period. Anything else is just playing for second place in the Charizard game.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
