The crown goes to the Pikachu Illustrator card. Only a handful of these were made for a CoroCoro Comic contest in Japan back in '98. Super rare, super pricey. If you find one in your attic, you're basically sitting on a gold mine!

Hot take: It's not just about the card's rarity. Sure, Pikachu Illustrator is legendary, but some first edition Base Set cards, like Charizard, can fetch a pretty penny too. Depends on condition, rarity, and the market.
Honestly, value is in the eye of the collector. But, if we're talking big numbers, Pikachu Illustrator wins. Saw one go for over a million at auction. Insane.
