The holy grail of Pokemon cards is definitely the Pikachu Illustrator card. This card was given out as a prize in a 1998 CoroCoro Comic illustration contest, and only a handful were ever made, making it extremely rare and valuable. If ya got one hidden in your attic, you're sitting on a goldmine!

Charizard 1st Edition, specifically the one from the Base Set with the shadowless error. This card has been known to fetch insane prices at auctions, especially if it鈥檚 in mint condition. It's a real treasure for collectors!

Honestly, most folks will talk about the Pikachu Illustrator or the 1st Edition Shadowless Charizard, but rarity and value can also heavily depend on condition and grading. A PSA 10 graded card can go for much more than the same card in a lower grade. So, condition matters a lot!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
