Gonna throw a curveball here, but I think the 1999 First Edition Shadowless Holographic Charizard deserves a mention. Sure, it might not be THE rarest, but try finding one in mint condition, and you'll see why it's up there. Price tags on this baby can get insane!

Hands down, the rarest Pokemon card out there has gotta be the Pikachu Illustrator card. This card is so rare because it was only given out to winners of a comic contest in Japan back in the '90s. Only a handful of these exist, making them super sought after by collectors!

Pikachu Illustrator, no contest. It's like the Holy Grail of Pokemon cards. Fewer than 40 of these bad boys are thought to exist. If you ever get your hands on one, you're sitting on a goldmine.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
