Well, if we're talking the crème de la crème of rarity, it's gotta be the Pikachu Illustrator card. Only a handful of these babies were ever made for a special contest in Japan back in the '90s, making them super rare and insanely valuable. If you ever find one in your attic, congratulations, you're probably sitting on a small fortune!

Illustrator Pikachu, no contest. It's like the holy grail of Pokemon cards. Good luck finding one though, they're pretty much a myth at this point.

Actually, while Pikachu Illustrator is up there, don't forget about the 1st Edition Shadowless Charizard. Given its iconic status and the nostalgia factor, it can fetch a pretty penny too and is super rare.

Honestly, rarity is in the eye of the beholder. Some might say Pikachu Illustrator, but there are other super rare cards like the 1st Edition Shadowless Charizard or even the Black Star Ishihara GX card that was given to Pokemon Company employees. Depends on how you look at it!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
