Actually, it's the No. 2 Trainer card. This card gets overlooked a lot, but it's incredibly rare and was awarded to runners-up in annual Pokemon World Championships. Since there's only one handed out per year, it's insanely rare. Don't sleep on the No. 2 Trainer card, folks!

The second most rarest Pokemon card is often debated, but a strong contender is the Illustrator Pikachu card. This card was only given to winners of a Pokemon card illustration contest in Japan back in the late '90s, making it super rare and valuable. Not many were made, so if you've got one, you're sitting on a goldmine!

Pikachu Illustrator, hands down. There's nothing that beats its rarity, except maybe the Pikachu Illustrator. Wait, did I just agree with myself? ?

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
