China is the way to go. I mean, faster building speed and those epic archers? Totally unbeatable in the long run.
Hot take: it's all about how you play, not the civilization. Any civ can be strong if you use it right.
Germany is the best if you're into troop training and rapid resource gathering. Trust me, I've been playing for years and I always roll Germany.
