The top 10 most expensive Pokémon cards are always changing, but some legends always seem to stay on the list. Here’s a snapshot: 1. Pikachu Illustrator Card, because it’s super rare. 2. 1999 First Edition Shadowless Holographic Charizard, because who doesn’t love Charizard? 3. Black Star Ishihara Signed GX Promo Card, a card signed by Tsunekazu Ishihara himself! 4. Kangaskhan-Holo #115 Family Event Trophy Card, rare and super cool. 5. 2000 Pokémon Neo Genesis 1st Edition Holographic Lugia, a beauty and a beast. 6. 2005 Pokémon EX Deoxys #107 Rayquaza Gold Star (Holo), just stunning. 7. 1998 Pokémon Japanese Promo Holo Illustrator Pikachu, cuteness overload. 8. 2006 Pokémon World Championships Promo No. 2 Trainer Card, prestige at its finest. 9. 2002 Pokémon Neo Destiny 1st Edition Shining Charizard, Charizard strikes again! 10. 1999 Pokémon Super Secret Battle No. 1 Trainer Holo Card, super secret, super cool. Remember, the market's always changing, and so are the rankings!

Honestly, the idea of 'most expensive' changes based on auctions, condition, and rarity. But Pikachu Illustrator and 1st Edition Shadowless Charizard are consistently at the top. Anything with Charizard flies off charts!

Most expensive? Just look for anything with Pikachu or Charizard. Can't go wrong there. But don't forget, value's in the eye of the beholder... or the wallet of the buyer.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
