Pretty much any laptop with Windows, Mac, or Linux can run Steam! You're gonna need to check the specific game requirements you're looking into for the beefier stuff, though. If it can run an OS, it can probably get Steam going with no fuss!

I've been running Steam on my old MacBook Air and it works like a charm for indie games and less demanding titles. So yeah, don't think you need the latest and greatest. Older models can still get you in the game!

Hot take: Just grab any gaming laptop and you're overkill for Steam. But honestly, any mid-range laptop from the last few years should do you just fine for the platform itself. Don't sweat the small stuff; it's the games that'll dictate your needs.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
