Doesn't matter if it's from the Base Set or a more recent collection, Charizards have a magic about them that just screams 'valuable'.

The value of Pokemon cards can seriously fluctuate, but as of now, some of the top contenders include those shiny Charizards everyone's after, rare first editions, and full art cards. Shadowless cards are also pretty high on the list. Basically, if it looks fancy and was hard to find even when it first came out, it's probably worth something. Oh, and don't forget about those special promotional cards - some of those are like gold dust!
Honestly, most of the time, it's the nostalgia factor that adds the most value. Original Base Set cards, especially in mint condition, can fetch a pretty penny. But don't sleep on newer sets, some of those limited edition cards from recent years are starting to climb in value.
