Value in the Pokemon TCG world can be pretty subjective, but there are definitely some standout cards since 2008. The Pikachu Illustrator card is like the Holy Grail; its value is skyrocketing! Then you've got your Shadow Lugia, for those who love a bit of darkness, and it's not lying around in everyone's collection. Don't forget about the First Edition Shadowless Charizard; if you've got one of those, you're sitting on a goldmine. But always remember, a card's condition plays a HUGE role in its value.

Honestly, most of the super valuable cards are from way back, but that doesn't mean post-2008 cards are all cheap. Look for Full Art or Secret Rare cards, especially from limited edition sets or those with errors. Those can fetch a pretty penny.

Just check eBay, and you'll see! The market decides what's valuable. But IMO, anything with Charizard on it tends to be worth more.

Nah, it's all about nostalgia. New cards are cool and all, but they'll never match the classics in value.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
