For investing, always go for the classics! First edition cards, particularly from the Base Set, are like gold. Charizard, especially if it's a holographic first edition, can fetch a pretty penny. Also, keep an eye on limited edition promo cards and cards from the early sets in mint condition. They tend to increase in value over time.

Honestly, just buy what you love! Pokemon cards are as much about the joy they bring as their potential investment value. If you're passionate about a certain set or Pokemon, start there.

PSA graded cards all the way. High-grade cards (PSA 9 or 10) hold their value best. Doesn't matter much which Pokemon, but obviously, rarer cards graded highly are a safer bet.

Don't bother. The market's too volatile. Invest in stocks.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
