The original 20GB and 60GB PS3 models are the ones you want. They both have hardware-based PS2 backwards compatibility. Good luck finding one!

If you鈥檙e lucky enough to have an original 60GB or 20GB PS3, you can play PS2 games on it. Later models, unfortunately, dropped this feature.

Quick tip: Only the 60GB and 20GB launch models of the PS3 are backwards compatible with PS2 games.
