In Geometry Dash, you can't use songs that aren't from the Newgrounds platform due to its integration for level creation music. Also, any track that isn't licensed for free use by the creator might be a no-go. RobTop Games, the developer, has made a cool setup where players can pick from tons of tracks on Newgrounds, so long as the artist has given the thumbs up for their tunes to be used!
Used a non-Newgrounds song once for my custom GD level, and boy, did it not go well. Stick to the approved Newgrounds tracks, folks. Saves you a whole lotta headache.
