Hot take: Just gift everyone coffee. It's easy, pretty much everyone likes it, and it saves you from the headache of remembering everyone's favorite items. Holiday spirit with a caffeine boost!

The Winter Festival in Stardew Valley, otherwise known as the Feast of the Winter Star, is the time to spread some holiday cheer! Make sure you bring a secret gift for your assigned villager - something they love will score you big friendship points. Don't forget to enjoy the festive decorations around town, mingle with the villagers to see unique dialogues, and check out the seasonal items for sale at the booths!

I've been going to the Winter Festival every in-game year, and the best part is definitely figuring out the perfect gift for your secret friend. One year, I gave Sebastian a Frozen Tear (it's one of his favorites) and the amount of friendship points I got was insane! Also, snapping a pic at the festival makes for a great memory.

Honestly, just eat the food. Stardew's Festivals are nice and all, but when else do you get to enjoy free grub in the game? Embrace the spirit of the feast!

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
