In my experience, chickens in Stardew Valley can be a solid source of income, especially early in the game. Beyond selling eggs and mayonnaise, I also recommend breeding them. Once you have a big coop, you can incubate eggs instead of selling them all. This way, you can grow your flock without buying more chickens from Marnie’s ranch. Bigger flock, more eggs, more money.
