Just check if it's shiny, dude. If it shines, it's probably worth something.

Don't forget about the edition! First Edition and Shadowless cards are like gold in the Pokemon card world. I once sold a First Edition shadowless Blastoise and bought a new laptop with the cash. Look for that tiny '1st Edition' stamp, or the absence of the shadow around the picture of the Pokemon. It could make a huge difference in price.

When selling Pokemon cards, the key things to check are the card's rarity, condition, and the current market demand. Rarity is indicated by symbols on the card (circle for common, diamond for uncommon, and star for rare, plus other special symbols for ultra and secret rares). A mint or near-mint condition can significantly increase a card's value. Finally, use online platforms to gauge how much your cards are going for. Remember, a Charizard鈥檚 always hot, but don't sleep on less flashy cards; their value might surprise you!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
