From personal experience, always ask for close-up photos if you're buying online. Got burned once with a lot that looked amazing in pics, but up close, it was like they'd been through a Poke-battle and lost. Badly.

When you're diving into the world of bulk Pokemon card lots, always keep an eye out for the condition of the cards first and foremost. Nobody wants a bunch of battered Pikachus! Next, check for variety – you want a mix of common, uncommon, and if you're lucky, a few rare or even ultra-rare cards in there. Beware of lots that are heavy on duplicates unless you're building an army of Magikarps. Lastly, do some homework on the seller's reputation. A good score means less chance of getting scammed with a box full of energy cards.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
