When you're checking out Pokemon cards, always zoom in on the rarity symbol, set symbols, and the holographic finish. Rarity symbols are key - they tell you how rare your card is (look for a little symbol like a circle, diamond, star). Set symbols help identify which set your card belongs to, which can be crucial for collectors. And don't forget about the holographic finish; those shiny cards aren't just pretty, they're often more valuable!

Don't sleep on the condition of the card! Scratches, bends, or even sun fading can tank a card's value faster than you can say 'Pikachu, I choose you!' Keep them in a cool, dry place.

Honestly, it's all about the art for me. If you love the Pokemon or the artwork, that's a solid win regardless of rarity or value.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
