Oh, you're diving into the treasure trove, aren't ya? Well, the Pokemon cards that usually fetch a pretty penny are the rare ones, like the holofoils, especially first editions. Also, keep an eye out for promo cards given out at events, and any cards with misprints or errors—those oddities can be worth a lot to the right collector! Lastly, don't forget about the vintage cards, especially from the original sets; nostalgia can add a lot of value.

Def not your run-of-the-mill cards that you get in every other pack. It's the limited edition stuff, things like holographic Charizards or misprinted Psyducks. Also, the older the card, the higher the value, generally speaking. I had a buddy who sold a first edition base set card for a small fortune!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
