The console before Xbox 360 was the Original Xbox, which dropped back in 2001. It gave us the legendary “Halo: Combat Evolved” and the monstrous controller known as “Duke.”

The OG Xbox came before the 360. Launched in 2001, it was Microsoft’s first shot at the console game.
