The ending of Attack on Titan is intense and bittersweet! Basically, Eren's plan to 'save' humanity by eliminating most of it with the Rumbling goes sideways. In the end, Mikasa finds a way to stop him, and the remaining characters strive to find peace in a world still reeling from loss.

Eren turns out to be both the hero and the villain. He unleashes the Rumbling, and Mikasa, with a heavy heart, takes him down. Humanity then struggles to pick up the pieces.
