Kohei Horikoshi originally had some pretty wild drafts for My Hero Academia characters! Bakugo was supposed to be kind and Midoriya was going to be a salaryman with a hero's heart. Talk about a 180!

In the early drafts of My Hero Academia, Horikoshi had planned for Bakugo's character to be much nicer and friendlier, but he found that a more aggressive personality made for better dynamics.

Before settling on the final designs, Horikoshi considered making Deku a salaryman who gains powers later in life instead of a high school student. Imagine that alternate universe!

Yeah, Bakugo was almost nice. Wild, right?
