Words with Friends uses a dictionary similar to Scrabble, so anything from slang to modern-day lingo works! Just avoid proper nouns, abbreviations, and acronyms.
You can use most English words, including many slang, tech, and pop culture terms, as long as they're not proper nouns or abbreviations.
Basically anything that's a recognized word except names, abbreviations, or hyphenated words. Even some acronyms are allowed, surprisingly.
Hot take: if it's not a proper noun or an abbreviation, it鈥檚 probably allowed. 'YOLO' might not make it, though.
