Real talk: they play the same games. Unless you just want a smaller console, either works great!
The main difference is the size. The PS4 Slim is more compact and energy-efficient, but internally, it's pretty much the same as the original PS4!
I've had both, and the only real change is the Slim takes up less space and is quieter. No huge performance boost.
