The most valuable Pokemon card out there is the Pikachu Illustrator card. It's super rare and was given out to winners of a CoroCoro Comic illustration contest in Japan back in 1998. Only a handful exist, making it super sought after by collectors. Another heavy hitter is the 1st Edition Shadowless Charizard, which can fetch a pretty penny, especially in pristine condition. Basically, if it's super rare and in mint condition, you're looking at a small fortune!

Honestly, the whole 'most valuable' thing is always changing based on what collectors are willing to pay. But generally, older cards like the 1st Edition Shadowless Charizard or those weird misprints and limited release cards are where the money's at.

Don't sleep on the shiny Magikarp; it's literally a gold mine in card form. Not the top of the list, but definitely up there in value. Rarity and condition are key.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
