NPCs in Terraria start to move in once you've met specific requirements for each. First off, you gotta have a proper house - that means walls, a door, a table, a chair, and lighting. Each NPC has its own unique requirement too, like defeating certain bosses or having a specific item in your inventory. So, build those houses and get ready to welcome your new pixelated pals!

They'll only move in if they like their new crib. Make sure that house is up to code!

Yo, it ain't just about throwing up some walls and a roof. Each NPC in Terraria has a specific trigger. For example, the Merchant needs you to have 50 silver coins, and the Nurse shows up after defeating your first boss. Keep progressing, and they'll start knocking on your door in no time.
