It really depends on the store, but generally, stores get new Pokemon card shipments around the same time they receive their regular inventory updates. This could be weekly for big retailers like Walmart or Target. It's always a good idea to check with your local store for their specific delivery days.

From my experience, the best time to check for new Pokemon cards is on Friday mornings. That's when my local game shop gets their deliveries. Plus, they'll usually post on social media when they're expecting a big restock, so keep an eye out!

Thursday, period. All my rare finds were on a Thursday. Coincidence? I think not.

Honestly, it's hit or miss. Big chains might get restocks on a regular basis, but for smaller shops, it can be pretty sporadic. Your best bet is to make friends with the staff so they can give you the inside scoop.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
