Oh, it's like asking when it rains in England - quite frequently! Steam has major sales during the summer and winter, which are the hottest tickets in town for snagging deals. But keep your eyes peeled; they also have spring and autumn sales, not to mention random weekend deals and publisher/developer sales sprinkled throughout the year. So, basically, always have your wishlist ready!
Summer and Winter sales are the main events but don't forget the Halloween, Autumn, and Spring sales!
Steam sales? More like Steam steals your wallet because they happen ALL the time. But FYI, the big ones are Summer and Winter sales. That's when you'll wanna max out the credit card.
