Honestly? It updates when it updates. RobTop isn't exactly clockwork with release dates.
Last time I checked, there's no official date for the next Geometry Dash update. But based on past releases, it seems like there's a major update every year or so. So, fingers crossed, we should hear something soon. In the meantime, there's plenty of user-created levels to keep things fresh!
