When should I craft exotic weapons in The Division 2?
Craft exotic weapons once you've reached the endgame content, around World Tier 5! You don't want to waste precious materials crafting a lower-tier weapon when the best loot comes later. ;)

Only start crafting exotic weapons after hitting Gear Score 500. The higher the score, the better the weapon!
Wait until you're in the late-game stages. Crafting too early means you'll outgrow the weapon quickly as you level up.
Honestly, crafting exotics anytime before reaching the endgame is a serious no-no. Save those resources for when it counts!
